Peraia is a small seaside town with Blue Flag beaches close to Thessaloniki and many people from Thessaloniki choose to live here permanently. One of the best known areas in the town is the large pedestrian street on the sea front with the fish taverns where you can sit and enjoy looking at the waves. These tavernas serve a huge variety of fresh fish that is caught directly from the waters of Halkidiki.

The beach Neoi Epivates continues the Perea shoreline, 23 km south of the city of Thessaloniki. Exceed 2 km long and sandy and shallow. Known as Baxe tsiflik, is an easy and a favorite destination for residents in Thessaloniki since it combines food and swim. Has infrastructure and organization for sunbeds and umbrellas for sports and boat marina. It is very cosmopolitan beach and summer attracts many people on a daily basis.
But in winter there are stores open and collect visitors who want to make their walk by the sea, overlooking the city of Thessaloniki.

Agia Triada is one of the most well-known beaches in the area. It has golden sand, crystal-clear water, and is calm and shallow at the shore—perfect for families with small children. The beach near the municipal coast is a favorite summer spot for many visitors. It’s a quiet and refreshing escape, just a few kilometers from the city center.
Right by the sea, you’ll find traditional fish taverns and ouzo spots offering great food all day and into the night, with amazing views of the bay.
There are both high-quality hotels and rental rooms that make staying here comfortable. You can reach Agia Triada by car or public bus, with more frequent routes during the summer.
